Wake! All your earthly thirsts are about to be quenched forever. … My son, arise.
Receive your initiation into the kingdom of God through Kriya Yoga
The Sanskrit word Kriya is composed by two syllables: “kri”,which means action/movement (karma-dhatu) and “ya”meaning Soul (atman), therefore the word Kriya means Action of the Soul (Prana Karma). The first and most important action of the soul is breathing. The union between breath and soul in every inhalation and exhalation is called Kriya and it represents the true karma.
We find the origins of Kriya yoga in the Upanishads, but also in Patanjali’s “Yoga Sutras”, the reference book in the field of yoga.
Here, the discipline is defined as mastering control over mental, emotional and bodily impulses, dispassionate self-analysis, deep study of higher realities, meditation, and renouncement of ordinary self-consciousness (egoism) in favor of God-consciousness.
The Master Teacher of Kriya Yoga is Mahavatar Babaji, a Himalayan yogi who taught the discipline to Lahiri Mahasaya in 1861. According to the tradition, Babaji reincarnates whenever is necessary to renew the Kriya Yoga flame.
Among the disciples of Lahiri Mahasaya we find Swami Sri Yukeswar Giri, creator of a kind of astrology called Cosmic Astrology.
The practice of Kriya Yoga allows to experience, not only understand, Spirituality in a consistent, unbiased, unemotional, un-intellectual and constant way.
Patanjali Kriya Yoga focuses on self-discovery and full awakening of the individual consciousness to the entire knowledge of infinite cosmic processes, which results in spiritual enlightenment.
